OUR TURF — a Purveyr x adidas Originals Collaboration

Early this year, I took on the nerve wracking challenge of shooting with a mirrorless camera for the Purveyr x adidas "OUR TURF" campaign. The shoot featured five local brands, namely Proudrace, Randolf, Salad Day, Revere, and Bastard, in partnership with adidas Originals.

Teo Athletics: Hyper Series

A huge part of my 2017 was dedicated to school and work and this has been one of the few efforts that came through. I went in this project with no clue on what to do in the gym and zero knowledge about athletics but I found myself looking at athletic-wear for pegs and inspiration. I picked up a lot from this team though -- they got me when I was just feeling things out and now, I'm this chick who does yoga at the end of the day. So thanks a lot, #TeamTeo!

Teo Athletics: No Matter What

If you knew me personally, you could attest that I am the least athletic person out there (hand-eye coordination isn't my thing) but I took it as a challenge to shoot my friends' sportswear brand, Teo AthleticsTeo Athletics is an up and coming sportswear brand and they recently released their first ever collection. For this collection, it took us two days to shoot in three different locations. Mainly, the biggest task I faced was having to wake up early for a morning shoot... but kidding aside, I really had fun working with the people behind the brand.

More photos from their collection under the cut!

Maybe, Maybe

Photos of Lola Amour from their Tagpo set last February 18 in Power Mac Center Spotlight. I shot the band again as part of my project for one of my majors but I had too much fun in the gig than I expected. I really can't wait to see these boys perform during Wanderland!

The Little Camera That Could

This is what happens when you put Comm Arts students in a place with good lighting, a little camera, and beer in a little room.

LOVE$ICK

I was so hyped to shoot after listening to Mura Masa's Love$ick so when my friend asked me to shoot her cousin for a street shoot, I couldn't say no. I had no clue how to shoot street style but I had such great models (Thanks so much, Ri and Zi!) (bonus: first time shooting a couple!)

Scout Summer Camp

(Prepare for a photo-heavy post!) n celebration for their second anniversary, Scout Magazine threw another party. As if last year's House Party wasn't fun enough, this time they're holding a Summer Camp amidst the rainy weather. They rainy skies still wouldn't drown the energy at Samsung Hall as everyone enjoyed tunes from the country's top indie bands.

Scout Summer Camp was my perfect break from school. I've been doing a lot of academic stuff lately and it just felt so good to be back shooting again. This is honestly one of the most hassle-free shoots I've been to. I'm having so much fun interning for Scout that I'm honestly looking forward to whatever's next!

The Empire Strikes Back

We're no Stormtroopers but we braved the heat in order to shoot for Instagram-based store, Empire. The early call time was absolutely unique to me but here's my first take on a collaboration with a brand! Thank you to Micole and Emira for letting us into your home. Don't forget to check out @empireph on Instagram for more of these stylish pieces!

No Role Modelz

A perk of being in the Communication Arts program in my school is being able to utilize the studio as much as we can for practice. With super minimal knowledge on studio lighting, my friends and I took on a challenge of shooting with a limited set up. On that day, Mar and Nigel just wanted photos for their portfolio... I simply didn't want to go to class, hence the impromptu shoot. (Read on for more photos!)
