Early / Late

For the past few weeks, I’ve been listening to a lot of local music which I think was brought by my trips to SaGuijo and attendance to music festivals. So, when I was shooting for Ibarra Watches, I had the music of crwn and bp hovering over me as I flatlayed one layout after the other (thus the song title I can't help but resonate with because I've been using the watch to determine whether or not I'll be late for my 9 am classes). With such great music in the background, I was trying to think of ways to put the Rizal watch in focus. After a day of planning and a trip to National Bookstore, I was able to let my childhood resurface and do some arts and crafts over the weekend. Here's the output after several days of conceptualizing, cutting, pasting, and shooting for Ibarra Watches!

Fashion, functionality, and Filipino are the traits which Ibarra Watches adhere to. It was pretty difficult for me to come up with photos that address those, but I’m sure that the watches are such classic timepieces on their own.
I got the Rizal 36mm Rose Gold Leather Dress Watch because the 40mm would look huge on my lanky wrist. I was never one to accessorize but I could practically pair the watch with any outfit so easily!
Owning this watch was habit forming for me because I no longer rely on my phone for something as basic as checking the time. Plus, I've been getting a lot of compliments over the watch!
(I couldn't pick which background was more suitable so, you know what it is... black and yellow)

Overall, I had a great time shooting for Ibarra Watches simply because they give me the liberty to go full creative-mode with the shoot. Given that this was my first time shooting for a brand, I had my fears but I really like how these turned out!

Ibarra Watches are available online through their website, Zalora, and Lazada. You may follow them on Instagram (@IbarraWatches) for more of the Illustrado Collection (They recently just launched two new styles!)
