To promote their sophomore album, Symphony Soldier, The Cab headed over to Manila and played a few free shows. Because we were too hyped, my friends and I rushed from Pasig to Alabang just to see watch them check their equipment. (Soundcheck perks: seeing Singer without the beanie) Our eagerness paid off since we got to watch the show from the very front with our "Prom?" signs in hand. After crying over them last year, we finally got to see The Cab play live!
Ahhhh one of the cutest bassists! Joey Thunder hairflipped his way through the entire show and it was the most adorable thing EVER.
My friends and I have this habit of staying in the venue until everyone left so we could score a few stuff left on stage. We didn't leave empty handed because the band actually extended their meet-and-greet session and personally handed us their picks! Joey Thunder took the time to sign a few stuff for us and I even got to hug Alex De Leon #uglycries
Out of all the Ayala shows I've attended, this has got to be the most breezy since we didn't even experience the hardcore pushing we usually go through. I was a bit disappointed with their set because it felt too short and they didn't play as much songs from Whisper War (well, at least we got Take My Hand!) Nonetheless, it was a pretty great show! It's another band to tick off my "Bands to see before I die" list
