Fairly Local

Week 28 was pretty dreary. I spent too much time at home but I realized it was the perfect warm-up for the hectic week coming up. I’m bidding goodbye to the wonderful age of 18 and saying hello to my last teen year! I’m old!!!!!

After eating a really good serving of Pad Thai, I fearlessly held my phone out the window to capture Kapitolyo before a rain shower. I spent the afternoon tutoring but the most valuable lesson I learned was never to run around the condo with my socks on because I slipped and imagined my self falling out of the window.

I went into extreme lola mode as I spent the entire day painting and making bracelets. The perfect song for the weather: Bloom by The Paper Kites.

Two of my guilty pleasures: Churros and my younger sister. I should probably stop labeling Yashi as my pet since a friend actually asked what breed she is (hay I still find it too funny). And I finally got to go out after so long! I celebrated by hoarding 0 and 00 brushes woohoo!

As I started my week with a hangover from a 4th of July celebration (my body was sore from ice skating), I ended it on a happier note by going to the Scout House Party. As I arrived, I was welcomed by plaid-clad millennials in black whose aura (hah! because get it, it was literally in SM Aura! #okay) screamed hipster. My biggest fear was bumping into people who were taking photos with their analog cameras kasi baka masayang yung film. I left the event more insecure than before because I was practically surrounded by people who breathed indie. I'll never understand how people keep up with such a picturesque lifestyle. I swear, every angle of the venue was Instagram (and even Tumblr) worthy!
Me at 4AM: Gusto ko magdrawing ng dahon.
Me at 6AM: Man, I shouldn't have downed those UCC coffee shots.
