Baby, it's cold outside

5 days before Christmas yet my holiday spirit is at an all time low. Good thing I had friends to party with to remind me that it is in fact, Christmas. (though I think I forgot to greet everyone a merry Christmas....) A big thank you to Dani for taking photos in my behalf!

Had a lot of firsts this weekend but playing Cards Against Humanity for the first time could just be the most significant. I've heard a lot about this game and it was, indeed, funny in the most offensive way. 'The Gays' are pretty much to be blamed for anything.
There's seriously nothing else on my wishlist but these. This is pretty tame compared to my past wishlists. Basically, just take me to National Bookstore and a Vans store and I'm good for Christmas. Well, maybe add a few bandage skirts to that list so I can put an end to Demure December. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Arrows, lines were falling

My second term in college has been particularly busy. It got to the point where I've gone to school without any sleep. Times like those, I'm grateful to have coffee first thing in the morning. I'm just glad I get to have these breaks in between my academics.
I started October with a DLSU vs FEU game and zero knowledge on basketball. Mela and I just clapped along with the crowd so we don't look as oblivious HAHA.
My kind of Happy Thursday with Dani. We decided to finish schoolwork in Gelatissimo only because we had free coupons.

Pwede bang itigil muna ang pag-ikot ng mundo?

At ngayon, 'di parin alam kung ba't tayo nandito.
After my first (and only) class of the day, Floro and I took a spontaneous trip to the National Museum. She and I have been planning to go on a photowalk together and today seemed like the perfect day to go on one. Armed with our smartphones, we ventured through the sketchy streets of Manila. Luckily, timing was on our side as we arrived in the Museum of the Filipino People right as they opened.

Chasing the Sun

My groupmates and I spent half a day in front of St. La Salle Hall's facade for a documentary shoot. We were rushing to get ample sunlight but we continuously prayed for rain because our topic required us to talk about the effects of flood to pedicab drivers. Despite the tiresome environment, my groupmates found a source of enjoyment after being under the sun for  hours.

New Shores

Three months ago, I celebrated my 18th birthday in Sweet Ecstasy with a few friends and family. The night was filled with good food, good music, and better company. This marked the beginning of my legality (and hopefully, my maturity) .

The exact reason why I wanted to throw my birthday dinner in Sweet Ecstasy was because of its hipster vibe. Not only did it have a brick wall for projection, it was also in the heart of Cubao X. (John Lloyd Cruz and Lourd De Veyra were right outside! Bonus guests HAHA)

Could you go and run into me?

The past few weeks have been very eventful. Between this post and the previous one, I managed to turn legal, get a new phone, and get through my first term in college. I'm currently on my really long term break which means I have the time to chill and bum around (despite the fact that I still have papers to finish).

Like a lightning bolt to the heart

I swore to my self that I'd tag my camera along during my first visit to Cubao X knowing that the place had the most eye-catching views. Sweet Ecstasy was the only place I visited but it surely met my expectations when it came to the graphics. I seriously can't wait to go back in a few weeks. (Shout out to the birthday girl for taking me to the most picturesque restaurant ever!)

I woke up near the sea

Right after Boracay, I basically went home to dry my clothes and bikinis for a family trip to Cebu. (I got home from Boracay on the 10th then left for Cebu on the 12th.) I've beem looking forward to going back to Cebu because my first visit was such a blast. My trip was so bitin that I thought of reasons to go back to Cebu while I was still in the Queen City of the South. [Almost] all of our expenses were taken care of by our host so, I couldn't be more grateful.

When I met you in the summer

My friends and I stayed on the island from April 6 to 10 for Batch Bora. (A check on my Christmas wish list!) It was a week of long walks under the scorching sun, booze (luh), and chillin' by the beach spent with good company. Most of the photos are taken from Sharina Tan, Dana Aquino, and my phone. I got too lazy to lug my camera around. The photos from my film camera are yet to be developed.

You're cold and I burn

My friends and I (plus my 12-year-old sister) got to see The 1975 play for free at Glorietta last March 31! We had free passes inside the venue but opted for the side stage instead because it was closer to the band (hence, all the side angles on the photos). Their set list was close to perfection... if only they played She Way Out. On the brightside, we got to meet the band right after the show and we came home with signed CDs!

I felt like I took half-assed photos because they all came out too grainy but the gradient map became my salvation.

Gotta be down because I want it all

"I put the 'yea' in 'yearbook'" and "I put the 'boo' in 'yearbook'" gets me every time. We had a little too fun with the projector at one of our meetings. We spotted the togas sitting in one corner and since it was a little chilly, we decided to bask in the warmth of our Seniority.
