A well deserved break for me and my friends. We watched Rock Loqal at the MOA Arena and basked under OPM music (yet again). I didn't get to use my zoom lens because I got too panicked to take photos and shot on my kit lens right away. (Lies. My zoom lens fell and wouldn't shoot properly)

Burning Red
I've been taking Digital Art classes for quite some time now and because of that, I gained rights to tag along with the Photography class whenever I felt like it. Today's shoot was about close-up face shots. My friend and I had no clue what to do so we turned the model into a living sugar skull. (I painted a face today!)
I understand how the sugar skull fad can come off as racist (search: Cultural Appropriation) but we did this project with no intentions of discrimination. I apologize beforehand if you have been offended by my actions.

Surviving a Zombie Attack
The challenge: Create a movie poster out of a book you've read/your favorite book for my GIFT Class. This serves as an entry to a contest at my school's library as well.
The outcome (after 8 hours of sitting down and clicking and moving anchor points):
I based my poster on Max Brooks' The Zombie Survival Guide and used Garrett Nickelsen as my muse. Thank God my Photoshop didn't crash or lag at all while I was making my poster. (Everything is of original artwork minus the zombie motifs at the side, the little zombie replacing the "o", and that gun.) Finally getting the hang of using vectors!
