Jet Pack Blues

Two hours on the road brought us to a fairly new beach resort in the municipality of La Libertad in Negros Oriental. After having gone from another road trip during the previous day, I wasn't as eager for the trip but once I stepped off from the pick-up truck, I knew I was in paradise.

Some greenery before immersing in a sea of blue. Rows and rows of sugar canes surrounded us as we drove towards the east of Negros.
We were literally on the edge as we crossed the border between the east and west of the Central Visayas Region.
The resort’s infinity pool stood in a perfect spot where the sea met the sky. Luckily, we arrived hours before everyone else. We practically had the resort all to ourselves!
With the pool being overpopulated, my cousins and I decided to swim in the beach instead. Rocks took the place of sand and since the waters were too shallow, it became the perfect place to lounge around in my pink floater. The trip was tiresome but the water shore-ly (get it?) washed the wooziness away.
